Our longest day travelling - a 7am start and only arrived at 6.30 pm. The problem? We're in the 9th day of the Hindu festival. We passed a temple at the centre of the festivities - we reckon there were at least 50,000 people there. And the traffic control was bedlam! Eventually police with rather nasty looking sticks 'put shape' on the crowds and we passed without incident.
6am start tomorrow. No rest for the wicked.
